Crock pot Chicken Tater Tot Casserole
The perfect family friendly recipe. This crock pot chicken tater tot casserole is easy to make but loaded with flavor and cheese.
Ingredients
- 2 chicken breast diced, large
- 1 can cream of chicken soup 10.5 ounces
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup 10.5 ounces
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups cheddar cheese shredded
- 16 ounces tater tots frozen
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper.
- Stir in the diced chicken.
- Pour this mixture into a crock pot.
- Sprinkle one cup of cheddar cheese over the top. Then arrange the tater tots in a single layer on top.
- Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours until chicken is cooked through.
- Top with the remaining cheddar cheese. Cover and cook on low for 5 more minutes to melt the cheese.
- Turn the crock pot off and let the casserole sit for 5-10 minutes.
- Then it’s ready to serve and enjoy!
Notes
- Refrigerate the leftovers in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
