  • 2 chicken breast diced, large
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup 10.5 ounces
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup 10.5 ounces
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese shredded
  • 16 ounces tater tots frozen

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper.
  2. Stir in the diced chicken.
  3. Pour this mixture into a crock pot.
  4. Sprinkle one cup of cheddar cheese over the top.  Then arrange the tater tots in a single layer on top.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours until chicken is cooked through.
  6. Top with the remaining cheddar cheese.  Cover and cook on low for 5 more minutes to melt the cheese.
  7. Turn the crock pot off and let the casserole sit for 5-10 minutes.
  8. Then it’s ready to serve and enjoy!

Notes

  • Refrigerate the leftovers in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
