Ingredients

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1/2 onion diced
  • 2 teaspoon minced garlic 
  • 2 cans diced tomatoes 15 oz each
  • 1 tomato sauce 14 oz
  • 2 Cans Black Beans drained and rinsed
  • 2 chipotle peppers in adobo chopped
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • optional toppings
  • sour cream
  • cheddar cheese
  • jalapeños
  • avocado

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Brown the ground beef and drain the fat.
  2. Place in a crock pot. Add the rest of the ingredients to the crock pot.
  3. Cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3.
  4. Stir to combine and serve with your favorite chili toppings.
