Ingredients
- 2 pounds baby carrots
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
- 2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Add the carrots, melted butter, and olive oil to a 2-4 quart slow cooker. Stir to coat the carrots. Add the water to the slow cooker.
- Cover the slow cooker. Cook on high for 3-4 hours, until tender*.
- Add the brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt to the slow cooker. Stir until well combined.
- Serve warm.

- *Try to wait at least 3 hours before removing the lid to check on them. The more you open a crock pot, the more steam and heat you let escape, and the longer it takes to cook.
