Crock Pot Pork Chops (with Mushrooms)

These crock-pot pork chops are cooked in an onion and mushroom broth, resulting in tender and fabulous chops with very little effort!

Ingredients

  • 4 lbs pork chops thick, bone-in
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 tbsp salt adjust to taste
  • 1/2 tbsp ground black pepper adjust to taste
  • 3 tbsp oil olive or avocado
  • 1 large onion sliced
  • 16 oz mushrooms sliced
  • 3 cups broth beef, vegetable, or chicken

Instructions

  1. In a large plate, combine flour, salt, and pepper. Coat pork on all sides with the flour mixture.
  2. Preheat a pan with 1 tbsp of oil on medium high heat. Brown all sides of pork chops. Place them into a crock pot.
  3. In the same pan, heat 1 tbsp of oil, then sauté sliced onion and cook until golden brown. Add onions to the pork chops.
  4. Add more oil to the same pan. When hot, add sliced mushrooms and cook until lightly brown. Place mushrooms in the crock pot. Pour broth and cook on low for 6 hours.
  5. Taste and adjust seasoning before serving, enjoy!
