Crock Pot Rice Pudding Recipe
Crock Pot Rice Pudding is a creamy dessert cooked slowly with long grain rice, evaporated milk, and sugar, enhanced by cinnamon and vanilla. The slow cooking method produces soft, well-cooked rice that blends smoothly into a rich pudding texture. Butter adds richness while cinnamon provides warm spice notes. This recipe is convenient to prepare in a slow cooker and yields a comforting, mildly sweet pudding that can be served warm or chilled.
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup rice I used long grain, raw
- 1 cup evaporated milk
- 2 cups milk
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a slow cooker. Whisk together to blend in the cinnamon.
- Cook on HIGH for 2-3 hours, or on LOW for 4-5. I cooked mine on HIGH for 2 hours and 45 minutes.
