Crock Pot Rice Pudding Recipe
Description
This rice pudding combines raw long grain rice with evaporated milk, regular milk, sugar, butter, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt, all whisked together in a slow cooker. Cooking on high for about 2 to 3 hours or low for 4 to 5 hours slowly softens the rice until it is tender and creamy. The cinnamon blending through the mixture adds a subtle spicy warmth that complements the sweetened milk base. The butter incorporated lends a smooth lip coating richness to the pudding, while vanilla enhances the overall flavor.
The slow cooker method allows hands-off preparation with gentle heat, preventing the pudding from burning or sticking. This makes it an accessible choice for a classic creamy rice dessert. It can be eaten warm for a soothing treat or cooled to form a firmer pudding texture.
