Crock pot Root Beer Chicken

Ingredients
- 2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts (approximately 4 chicken breasts)
- 1 Tbsp onion powder
- 1 Tbsp garlic powder
- 2 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1 cup root beer
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in a 6 quarter crock pot. Combine the dry ingredients in a small bowl and sprinkle over the chicken breasts in the crock pot.
- Pour the Root Beer and barbecue sauce in the crock pot.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
- Shred the chicken and mix into the sauce in the crock pot.
- Serve on top of your favorite buns and enjoy!

Notes
- Refrigerate leftovers in an air tight container for up to 5 days.
- I usually serve this chicken mixture on buns but it's great over rice or on top of a baked potato as well!
