Ingredients

  • 1 ground ground Italian sausage
  • 4 Russet potatoes (peeled and diced)
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic 
  • 1/2 onion (chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground sausage and drain any remaining fat.
  2. Add the ground sausage to a crock pot.
  3. Place in the minced garlic, onion, potato, salt, pepper, and broth in the crock pot.
  4. Stir to combine.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours on low or on high for 3 hours.
  6. Stir in the heavy whipping cream. Cover and cook on low for 10-15 minutes until the cream is heated through.
  7. Serve warm topped with the parmesan cheese and enjoy!

Notes

  • Refrigerate the leftovers in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
