Ingredients

  • 2 ¼ cups coconut milk
  • 3 cups water
  • 1 ½ cup steel cut oats I used Bob's Red Mill
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ cup honey or maple syrup
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • Toppings:
  • dried cherries
  • chocolate chips I use Enjoy Life
  • raw unsalted cashews

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Spray the bottom of your slow cooker with cooking spray. Turn on low.
  2. Add all ingredients except toppings and stir.
  3. Cover and relax.
  4. Cook for 7 hours on low.
  5. Adjust time if necessary. All slow cookers are different.
  6. To reheat, simply stir in some milk and heat in the microwave.
