Crockpot Shredded Chicken for Meal Prep

Ingredients

  • 4 lbs chicken breasts boneless, skinless, about 4-5 large
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 cup chicken stock homemade or store bought

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients in slow cooker and cook on high for 3-4 hours or on low for 6.
  2. Once internal temperature reaches 165° F, remove chicken and shred using 2 forks or by placing in stand mixer with whisk attachment.
  3. Store in an airtight container in refrigerator for up to 4 days or in freezer for up to 4 months.
