Ingredients

  • 1 large english cucumber
  • 2 cups vodka

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Peel, seed & roughly chop cucumber.
  2. Place the cucumber into a sealable container and pour over the vodka.
  3. Seal your container and store in the back of the drinks cabinet for 3 days. (See notes)
  4. Strain through a sieve lined with a cheesecloth or clean J cloth and pour back into your bottle.
  5. I like to add it to the freezer for an hour before serving in shots with a couple of cucumber ribbons.
  6. Great served with my Blueberry Cured Salmon.

Notes

  • And also I find that after 4 days the cucumber flavour stops tasting fresh and gets that slightly bitter old cucumber taste. But some recipes recommend 7-10 days.
