Cucumber Water (Detox + Low-Calorie)

Ingredients

  • 1 cucumber peeled & sliced
  • ½- inch 1.25 cm piece of ginger, peeled (1 tbsp)
  • 10 leaves fresh mint
  • 3 cups ice water
  • A dash of cayenne optional
  • A pinch of ground turmeric
  • sugar substitute to taste (optional) such as Swerve
  • 1 lemon squeezed
  • Lots of ice

Instructions

  1. To make this cucumber water recipe, blend slices of cucumber, ginger, fresh mint leaves, cayenne for extra flavor, turmeric, ice water, and sugar substitute in a blender until smooth, or until it has the consistency of juice.
  2. Strain using a fine-mesh sieve, and then squeeze in the juice of one lemon. Discard the pulp and lemon seeds.
  3. Serve this juice detox with ice cubes and enjoy!

  • Store in a pitcher with a lid in the fridge for up to 3 days.
