Ingredients
- 1 cucumber peeled & sliced
- ½- inch 1.25 cm piece of ginger, peeled (1 tbsp)
- 10 leaves fresh mint
- 3 cups ice water
- A dash of cayenne optional
- A pinch of ground turmeric
- sugar substitute to taste (optional) such as Swerve
- 1 lemon squeezed
- Lots of ice
Instructions
- To make this cucumber water recipe, blend slices of cucumber, ginger, fresh mint leaves, cayenne for extra flavor, turmeric, ice water, and sugar substitute in a blender until smooth, or until it has the consistency of juice.
- Strain using a fine-mesh sieve, and then squeeze in the juice of one lemon. Discard the pulp and lemon seeds.
- Serve this juice detox with ice cubes and enjoy!
