- 3/4 ounce simple syrup
- ice
- Lime wheel for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Fill a shaker with ice. Add the rum, fresh lime juice, and simple syrup.
- Cover and shake vigorously for 15–20 seconds. Strain the cocktail into a chilled coupe or martini glass.
- If you like, garnish with a lime wheel.
