Dairy Free Blueberry Smoothie

Use either fresh or frozen blueberries to make this healthy, antioxidant rich, delicious smoothie!

Ingredients

  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 stalk celery
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1 cup cashew milk or almond, coconut, soy, rice

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Add banana and celery to blender container. Blend, scraping sides of container a few times.
  2. Add blueberries and blend again.
  3. Add cashew milk and blend until smooth.

Notes

  • Tip: Freeze bananas that have gone too ripe for your liking to use in baked goods and smoothies!
  • Optional ingredients to add to this smoothie;
  •  
  • Banana can be frozen for this recipe.
  • Serve cold.
  • 1 tablespoon peanut or almond butter
  • 1-2 tablespoons chia seeds
  • avocado chunks
  • pineapple chunks
  • touch of vanilla extract
  • pinch of cinnamon
  • protein powder
  • lemon juice and zest
