Deviled Eggs Recipe

Ingredients

  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon white vinegar
  • Pinch of salt and pepper
  • Pinch of paprika
  • parsley leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add the eggs to the pot and cook them on medium-high heat for 14 minutes, until hard-boiled.
  2. While the eggs are boiling, prepare an ice-water bath. Once the eggs are hard-boiled, place them in the ice-water bath so they can cool completely.
  3. Peel the hard-boiled eggs. Slice them in half lengthwise. Remove the yolks with a spoon. Place the yolks in a bowl.
  4. Mash the yolks with a fork. Add the mayonnaise, mustard, and vinegar to the bowl. Season with salt and pepper. Mix well until smooth.
  5. Spoon the mixture into the halved hard-boiled eggs. Sprinkle the paprika over the eggs and garnish with parsley leaves.
