Dijon Vinaigrette

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1-2 tsp agave or honey to taste
  • 1-2 tsp fresh lemon juice to taste
  • 2 cloves of garlic minced
  • Sea salt and freshly cracked black pepper to taste
  • 3 tbsp olive oil or vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Combine the red wine vinegar, Dijon mustard, agave, lemon juice, and minced garlic in a small glass jar. Season with sea salt and freshly cracked pepper, to taste.
  2. Whisk well; slowly drizzle in olive oil while whisking until well combined. Set aside for flavors to mingle.
  3. Whisk well before drizzling on your salad. Enjoy.
  4. Side Note: My family loves a very tangy vinaigrette. If you prefer a more subtle flavor, increase the olive oil, to taste.
