Dill Honey Mustard Sauce

This dill honey mustard sauce is similar to a dressing and makes a great condiment for crab cakes and fish cakes.

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons Dijon mustard 1 teaspoon
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 teaspoons rice vinegar unseasoned
  • 2 tablespoons red onion minced
  • 2 teaspoons dill you need about 2 large sprigs for that, fresh; finely chopped
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper ground
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil mild

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together mustard, honey, rice vinegar, red onion, dill and black pepper.
  2. Whisking continuously, slowly drizzle in the olive oil until you have a smooth sauce. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

Notes

  • *This recipe is best with fresh dill and I don't recommend substituting dried dill weed.
