Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon Calendula tea or flowers
  • ¼ cup water
  • 3 tablespoons witch hazel
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 10 drops essential oils optional

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Make some boiling water and add your calendula flowers to it. Let sit for 10 minutes then strain. Let cool.
  2. Add essential oils to the witch hazel.
  3. Combine all the ingredients into a spray bottle and shake to incorporate.

Notes

  • Store the face toner in a cool dry place. Or, in the summer months store it in the fridge. I do this with my green tea face mist and it makes it even more refreshing when you spritz it on.
  • If you don’t have to use actual calendula flowers. It makes it more potent but you can just use water.
  • To use it, spritz some of the homemade face toner onto a cotton pad and rub it onto your face in a circular motion. Likewise, you can spritz your face and then rub.
  • Makes roughly 4 ounces.
