Ingredients
- ¼ cup garri
- 3 cups water
Optional ingredients:
- 3 cubes sugar or honey
- 1 pinch salt
- 2 tbsp milk or bournvita
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- Place the garri in a small bowl and add plenty of water. Skim the surface of any dirt particles and carefully drain away the water.
- Add fresh, cold water to the garri, a little at a time, while stirring. Adjust the consistency according to your preference. Try to avoid making it too thick because it's harder to drink.
- Add as much sugar, salt milk or ice cubes as you prefer, stir well, and enjoy a cooling glass of Drinking Garri!

- You can prepare garri plain or with sugar or salt, or both together.
- Honey can also be used to sweeten the garri.
- Ijebu garri is the best garri for drinking.
