Earl Grey Syrup Recipe

This earl grey syrup comes together with 3 simple ingredients and is so easy to make! Perfect for adding to lattes, teas, cocktails, sodas, or drizzled over pancakes, waffles, ice cream, and more!

Ingredients

  • 1½ cup water boiled and hot
  • 4 bags earl grey tea
  • 1 cup sugar

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. To a small pot, add hot boiled water and four tea bags. Steep the earl grey tea bags for 4 to 5 minutes before discarding the tea bags.
  2. Add the sugar to the pot and simmer, uncovered, for 15 to 20 minutes, making sure to stir until the sugar has completely dissolved.
  3. Let the syrup cool to room temperature and transfer to an airtight container before storing in the fridge or using.

Notes

  • I usually use two tablespoons per serving for my drinks.
