Ingredients

  • 4-6 slices of bread
  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons minced red onion
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Toast the 4-6 slices of bread until golden and set aside.
  2. Add the 2 ripe avocados to a medium-sized bowl and mash to the desired consistency with a fork. Add in the 1 tablespoon lemon juice, 2 tablespoons minced red onion, ½ teaspoon garlic powder, and salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Spread the avocado mixture on top of the toasted bread and top with your favorite garnishes.
