Ingredients

  • 2 lices bread
  • 2 tablespoon unsalted butter softened
  • 2 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon or to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch salt (tiny pinch)

  1. Preheat the Air Fryer – Set the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and allow it to heat up.
  2. Make the Cinnamon Butter – In a small bowl, mix the softened butter, sugar, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.
  3. Spread the Mixture – Evenly spread the cinnamon butter on one side of each bread slice, ensuring full coverage, including the edges.
  4. Air Fry – Place the bread slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket or on the tray. Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
  5. Serve – Remove from the air fryer, let the toast cool slightly, then enjoy warm!

Notes

  • Soften the Butter – Soft butter spreads more easily and evenly. If it's too cold, microwave it for a few seconds (but don’t melt it completely).
  • Mix the Cinnamon-Sugar Well – Ensure the sugar and cinnamon are well incorporated into the butter for an even flavor in every bite.
  • Use Thick Bread Slices for a Heartier Bite 
  • For Extra Crispiness – Air fry for an additional 1-2 minutes more.
