Easy BBQ Baked Breaded Chicken Recipe

Ingredients

  • 3 chicken breasts fillets and cut into trips (You can use chicken tenderloins)
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 cup Panko bread crumbs

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. Line a cookie sheet with foil and spray with non stick spray.
  3. Pour the BBQ sauce and water in a shallow bowl and whisk together.
  4. In another shallow bowl, combine the bread crumbs and the panko bread crumbs.
  5. Dip one piece of chicken into the BBQ sauce and coat completely. Then dip in the bread crumb mixture and coat completely.
  6. Place on the foil lined cookie sheet. Continue with each piece of chicken.
  7. Spray all the chicken lightly with non stick spray.
  8. Bake for 20 minutes. Then turn on the broiler and cook for another 2 minutes (until they get crispy). Watch closely!

Notes

  • Want to stick to a more traditional way to cook chicken fingers? Substitute the BBQ sauce for egg. Regardless, this recipe is a crowd pleaser!
