Easy Blondie Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter melted
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 ⅓ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup white chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9x13 pan or line with parchment paper.
  2. Melt butter, brown sugar and white sugar in a small saucepan. Cool 5 minutes. Whisk in eggs and vanilla.
  3. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a small bowl. Add to butter mixture and stir to combine. Fold in chocolate chips.
  4. Spread mixture into the prepared pan (it will be thick). Bake 22-25 minutes or just until lightly browned on the edges.
  5. Cool and cut into squares.

  • Nuts: Chopped peanuts, pecans, or walnuts
  • Fruit: Dried cherries, cranberries, or apricots
  • Sweets: Peanut butter chips, toffee bits, sprinkles, or topped with vanilla or chocolate buttercream frosting
