Easy Boondi Raita
This easy traditional Indian condiment Boondi Raita is so crispy and creamy. Made with whisked yogurt and flavored with spices. It is gluten-free and goes very well with an Indian meal.

Ingredients
- 1 Cup Plain Whisked Yogurt
- 1/3 Cup Plain Boondi
- 1/4 Teaspoon salt
- 1/2 Teaspoon roasted cumin powder
- 1/4 Teaspoon red chili powder
- Cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl add chilled whisked yogurt.
- Add all the spices red chili powder, salt, roasted cumin powder to the whisked yogurt and mix it well.
- Add boondi to the yogurt, mix it and garnish it with cilantro leaves.
- Boondi Raita is ready. Serve it immediately.

Notes
- Consistency: Adjust the consistency of raita to your taste. You can add cold milk or water to adjust consistency. I prefer raita thicker.
- Masala Boondi: If you are using masala boondi, adjust spices as per your taste,
- Serve: It tastes best when served fresh. It does not take much time to make, so I prefer to make it right before serving.
- Vegan: You can use any non-dairy yogurt of your choice to make vegan.
- Tip: Don't add too much boondi, as it soaks and expands and makes the raita too thick.
