Ingredients
- 1 tube refrigerated buttermilk biscuits with a yield of 8 or 10 biscuits
- 3 cheese strings - they have to be bendable!
Sauce Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup salted butter melted
- 2 tablespoons grated parmesan
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic the jarred stuff is perfect!
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
Instructions
- Pop open the can of biscuits and roll out each biscuit into a log around 6 inches long.
- Slice each cheese string into 4 pieces.
- Flatten each biscuit roll so that you can place the cheese into it. Stretch the biscuit around the cheese, sealing completely.
- Combine the sauce ingredients in a bowl.
- Dredge each biscuit roll through the butter mixture, then tie into a knot, tucking the ends beneath the roll and pinching together. Place on parchment lined cookie sheet pinched side down. Repeat until all are done. (see video for how to tie them in knots!)
- Brush the rolls with the leftover butter mixture.
- Bake in a 400 degree oven for 8-10 minutes, until browned and baked completely.
- Remove, cool slightly and eat!
