Easy Chickpea Blondies

This chickpea blondies recipe will are a wonderful sweet treat made with almond butter and chickpeas in place of flour. They will simply amaze you how good they are!

Ingredients

  • 15 ounces chickpeas rinsed and drained or 1 ½ cups of cooked chickpeas
  • ½ cup all - natural almond butter or peanut butter
  • ⅓ cup maple syrup or honey or agave
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon baking soda
  • ⅓ cup chocolate chips
  • ½ cup chopped nuts optional

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease an 8×8 inch pan.
  2. In a food processor, add all ingredients except the chocolate chips and pulse until batter is smooth.
  3. Mix in the chocolate chips.
  4. Spread batter evenly in prepared pan and bake for 20-25 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean
  5. Cool for 10 minutes.
