Easy Chocolate Hummus

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup chickpea flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened coconut milk
  • 2 TB unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1.5 TB honey
  • 2 TB sesame paste
  • a pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the chickpea flour, cocoa powder and salt in a medium saucepan.
  2. Add the sesame paste, honey, milk, and vanilla extract and stir until smooth.
  3. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, for about 5 minutes until the mixture thickens and begins to pull away from the sides of the pan. If the hummus is too thick, stir in a bit more milk.
  4. Transfer to a serving bowl and allow to cool before enjoying.
