Easy Detox Smoothie (with NO weird ingredients!)
An Easy Detox Smoothie blending green apple, pineapple, banana, spinach, cilantro, and ginger with water or orange juice. The ingredients combine for a fresh, mildly sweet, and slightly spicy smoothie with a smooth texture, enhanced by the zing of lime juice. It uses common fruits and herbs without unusual components, providing a straightforward fresh beverage option.
Ingredients
- ½ cup water (or orange juice)
- 1 green apple
- ½ cup pineapple frozen chunks
- ½ banana frozen
- ½ inch ginger peeled and minced, fresh
- 1 cup spinach fresh
- small handful cilantro fresh
- 1 tablespoon lime juice fresh
Instructions
- Combine all of the ingredients in a high-speed blender and blend until smooth. Pour into a glass and serve right away.
- If you don't have have a high-speed blender, I recommend blending the spinach, cilantro, and ginger with the water first, to help break them down completely. Then add in the fruit and lime juice, and blend again.
