Easy Garlic Bread Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf french or italian bread
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter Softened (1 stick)
  • 1 TBSP fresh parsley chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic finely minced
  • 1/4 tsp kosher salt omit if using salted butter
  • black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Slice bread loaf lengthwise and place on a baking sheet, cut side up.
  3. Mix together softened butter, garlic, parsley, salt and pepper until fully combined. Spread butter mixture over bread evenly, all the way to the edges.
  4. Bake for 8 minutes. Finish bread under broiler for 1-2 minutes, or until golden brown. Watch carefully while it is under the broiler as it can burn easily.

Notes

  • *Be sure butter is softened for best results
  • *Do not add salt if you are using salted butter
