Easy Green Juice Recipe
This Easy Green Juice combines cucumber, celery, kale, spinach, fresh ginger, lime juice, and apples to create a smooth, refreshing beverage. The recipe blends these fresh ingredients and then strains the juice to remove solids, resulting in a clean, bright juice with a balance of vegetal and citrus notes. Chilling before serving enhances its crispness, making it a nourishing drink for hydration or a green boost.
Ingredients
- 1 cucumber sliced
- 3 talks celery sliced
- 3 leaves kale removed from stem
- 1 cup spinach baby leaves, loosely packed
- 1 piece ginger approx 1-2 inch chunk, fresh
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 2 apple cored and sliced
Instructions
- Blend the juice. Place all of the ingredients into a high-powered blender. Blend until smooth, about 1 to 2 minutes. If you need to, use your tamper to push the ingredients into the blades of your blender.
- Strain the juice. Pour the green juice through a fine-mesh strainer or nut milk bag into a storage container. Press on the solids with the back of a spoon to extract as much juice as possible. Discard the solids.
- Chill and serve. Chill the juice before serving, then enjoy.
Notes
- Wash all vegetables and fruits thoroughly before blending to ensure cleanliness.
- Juice separation is normal; stir well before serving to recombine.
- A durable nut milk bag helps extract more juice and lasts longer for regular use.
