Easy healthy banana oat waffles

This recipe blends rolled oats, chopped bananas, eggs, vanilla, baking powder, and optional salt into a smooth batter used to make waffles. Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 2 banana chopped, medium
  • 2 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • pinch salt optional
  • To serve
  • Fruit fresh, of your choice
  • honey or maple syrup
  • peanut butter or almond butter
  • yogurt

Instructions

  1. Place all the batter ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
  2. Heat a waffle maker/iron then spray with non-stick cooking spray. Pour in a few tablespoons of batter.
  3. Cook until the waffles are golden brown and cooked through.
  4. Carefully remove the waffles and serve with toppings of your choice.
