Easy Homemade Cashew Milk
Easy Homemade Cashew Milk combines soaked cashews with filtered water, blended and strained to create a creamy, smooth plant-based milk. This silky beverage can be sweetened optionally with maple syrup or dates for mild natural sweetness. The result is a versatile dairy alternative suitable for drinking, cooking, or adding to cereals and smoothies.
Ingredients
- 1 cup cashew nuts soaked in boiling hot water for 30 minutes, raw
- 4 cups water filtered
Optional Sweeteners
- 1-2 tablespoon maple syrup
- 1-2 dates pitted
Instructions
- Drain cashews and add them to your blender with the water and your sweetener of choice, if using, and puree until smooth.
- Using your Bigger & Better Nut Milk Bag, (or equivalent) strain the milk into a jug to remove any loose pieces and pulp so that you're left with smooth and creamy, perfect cashew milk.
Notes
- Store cashew milk in a covered container or lidded jug in the refrigerator.
