Easy Homemade Tahini Paste: A Foolproof vegan recipe that takes 5 minutes and 2 ingredients to make! This creamy, rich and luxurious tahini paste is irreplaceable in hummus and is widely used for salad dressings and roasted vegetables.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup or 170 g unhulled sesame seeds or any other kind
  • 4-5 tablespoons olive oil
  • kosher salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Toast the unhulled sesame in a large frying pan over medium heat until golden, stirring occasionally (about 3 minutes).
  2. Transfer to a high-speed food processor or blender and blend until smooth, gradually adding olive oil. The more powerful is your food processor, the less oil you'll need. Add salt to taste. Enjoy!
