Easy Ice Cream Dessert Banana Split Recipe

There’s only one way to make the perfect banana split – just like the ice cream parlor used to make it when you were a kid – and this is it! With pineapple, strawberry, chocolate ice cream, bananas, whipped cream, and of course, a maraschino cherry on top, this is the ultimate summer dessert!

Ingredients

  • 1 banana peeled and split lengthwise
  • 1 coop vanilla ice cream
  • 1 coop chocolate ice cream
  • 1 coop strawberry ice cream
  • 2 tablespoons pineapple sauce or diced fresh pineapple
  • 2 tablespoons chocolate syrup or hot fudge sauce
  • 2 tablespoons strawberry sauce or diced fresh strawberries
  • Whipped Cream
  • 3 Maraschino cherries
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Peel the banana and cut it in half lengthwise. Place the banana slices against the sides of a long, shallow dish.
  2. Position the vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry ice cream scoops in a row between the banana slices.
  3. Drizzle the ice cream and banana with the pineapple, chocolate, and strawberry sauces.
  4. Top each scoop of ice cream with a dollop of whipped cream and a maraschino cherry. Garnish with the chopped nuts and dig in immediately!
