Easy Lemon Garlic Butter Shrimp

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ pounds Shrimp peeled and deveined, tails on or off, large or jumbo
  • 4-6 tablespoons butter
  • 3 teaspoons garlic minced
  • ½ teaspoon italian herb blend dried
  • 1 tablespoon parsley finely chopped, or cilantro
  • lemon juice of 1

Instructions

  1. Rinse shrimp and pat dry with a paper towel. In a large skillet melt 4 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add garlic and dried herbs and stir for 1 minute or until garlic is golden.
  2. Add shrimp and cook 4-6 minutes, stirring periodically, until pink and hot throughout. Stir in parsley or cilantro, and lemon juice to taste (one tablespoons is a good place to start). Serve immediately. 

Notes

  • Adding crushed red pepper flakes can give the dish a pleasant and controllable spicy heat.
  • Make sure to serve the shrimp immediately after cooking to maintain their tender texture.
