Ingredients

  • 8-10 bacon slices cooked and crumbled
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1/3 cups chives or green onion chopped
  • 2 teaspoons hot sauce optional
  • 1 oz dry ranch seasoning mix optional

Instructions

  1. Crumble pre-cooked (and cooled) bacon into a medium mixing bowl.
  2. Add sour cream, cheese, chives, and hot sauce or ranch seasoning (if using) to the bowl and stir together.
  3. Sprinkle with your favorite potato toppings: salt and pepper, more bacon and cheese, etc.
  4. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
