Easy Peanut Butter and Chocolate Cookies

Ingredients
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup white sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 large egg
- ¾ cup chocolate chips
- coarse sea salt, optional for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and line a baking sheet pan with parchment paper.
- Cream the peanut butter, sugar, vanilla, and egg in a medium bowl using an electric hand mixer.
- Stir in the chocolate chips.
- Use a cookie scoop to scoop the dough onto the prepared cookie sheet. If desired, press a few extra chocolate chips into the tops of the cookies.
- Bake for 6-8 minutes or until lightly browned around the edges.
- Remove from the oven and allow the cookies to sit on the cookie sheet for another 2-3 minutes before removing to a cooling rack. Top the cookies with sea salt, if desired.
