Ingredients

  • 16 ounces frozen peas and carrots
  • 4 tablespoons salted butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a medium-sized skillet.
  2. Cook over medium-high heat for 7-8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables are heated through.
  3. If desired, add extra salt and pepper to taste. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

  • To speed up the cooking time, you can thaw the frozen vegetables beforehand. This can be done either by running the vegetables under warm water until completely thawed, or by placing them in the refrigerator at least 8 hours in advance.
