Easy Pizza Toast

This Texas Toast Pizza is made using frozen Texas toast, sauce, and cheese. It’s baked to perfection with your choice of toppings so you can make it your own!

Ingredients

  • 8 slices Frozen Texas Toast garlic-flavored
  • 1 cup Pizza Sauce
  • 2 cups shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • Optional toppings: pepperoni, veggies, or other favorite pizza toppings
  • Optional: parsley or Italian seasoning for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven according to the instructions on the Texas toast package (usually 425°F).
  2. Arrange the Texas toast slices in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  3. Bake the Texas toast for half the recommended cooking time (about 3-4 minutes) to lightly crisp the base.
  4. Remove the toast from the oven and spread about 2 tablespoons of pizza sauce on each slice.
  5. Sprinkle each slice with shredded mozzarella cheese, dividing it evenly among the slices.
  6. Add pepperoni slices or your choice of toppings on top of the cheese.
  7. Return the baking sheet to the oven and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Sprinkle parsley or Italian seasoning over the pizzas (if desired) and serve hot.

  • Store any extra Texas toast pizzas in a resealable bag in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Set your oven to broil for 1-3 minutes at the end of cooking time for extra crispiness and color.
  • Try making this recipe in the air fryer. Set it to 400°F and cook the pizzas for about 5-7 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
