Easy Sausage and Egg Breakfast Casserole with Bread Cubes

This breakfast casserole combines cooked pork sausage, eggs, milk, cheddar cheese, and seasoned bread cubes to create a textured, savory morning dish. It provides a hearty and satisfying start to the day and is suitable for serving hot or at room temperature.

Notes

  • Prepare sausage, cut bread, and mix dairy and eggs ahead, then combine all ingredients immediately before baking to prevent the bread from becoming soggy.
  • Baking until eggs are set ensures the casserole holds its structure and offers a slightly crisp top layer.
  • Serving can be done hot or at room temperature depending on preference and timing.
