Here's a delicious and easy Homemade Spicy Sweet Chili Sauce recipe that's not only is it a great dipping sauce, but you can also use as an ingredient to cook delicious stir-fry as well.

Ingredients

  • 60 ml rice vinegar
  • 57 g sugar , to taste
  • 30 ml water
  • 2 bird’s eye chili pepper finely chopped, Thai variety

Instructions

  1. Heat the sugar, vinegar, and water in a small saucepan over medium-low heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
  2. Increase the heat and boil the mixture for 5 to 8 minutes until a light syrup forms.
  3. Remove from heat, stir in the chopped red chiles, and let the sauce cool to room temperature before serving. Do not strain.
