Easy Strawberry Smoothie

Who doesn't love an easy strawberry smoothie recipe that literally tastes like strawberries and cream for breakfast? 🍓

Ingredients

  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
  • half frozen banana
  • 3/4 cup milk of choice (soy, regular or almond)
  • 1 scoop Vanilla protein (optional)
  • 1-2 tbsp hemp seeds or granola for topping

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Add all of the ingredients to the blender.
  2. Blend until smooth. Adjust flavor to taste.
  3. Serve the smoothie immediately.

Notes

  • If don't use vanilla protein use a dash of maple syrup and a dash of vanilla extract to enhance the flavours of this smoothie.
  • To make vegan, swap the Greek yogurt for plant-based yogurt.
  • This smoothie also lends itself well too frozen blueberries! So simply swap frozen strawberries for frozen blueberries in a pinch.
  • To make a smoothie bowl, add more frozen fruit to thicken. Transfer to a bowl and garnish with granola + fresh fruit.
