Easy Taco Dip Recipe

Delicious Taco Dip with a taco seasoned cream cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, black olives and cheese is the perfect easy party appetizer.

Ingredients

  • 16 ounces sour cream
  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1.25 ounce envelope taco seasoning
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1 cup taco Cheese
  • 3 cups shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes halved
  • 2.25 ounces sliced black olives

Instructions

  1. Combine sour cream, cream cheese and taco seasoning in a medium bowl until smooth.
  2. Spread on 9x13 in pan. Cover mixture with salsa. Then sprinkle cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and black olives on top.
  3. Cover and refrigerate until serving. Serve with chips.

Notes

  • Either place leftover taco dip into an airtight container, or cover the baking dish in plastic wrap or aluminum foil. Store in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. I do not recommend freezing this dip!
  • Add some extra kick to this dip with sliced jalapeños or serraño peppers or by using a spicy salsa.
  • If you want more veggies in this dip, you can add corn, bell pepper, or cucumber.
  • Feel free to swap the sour cream for plain greek yogurt if you prefer!
