Easy Teriyaki Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup water
  • 2 tablespoons corn starch
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • ½ teaspoon ginger dried and ground
  • 1 cup water
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 5 tablespoons honey

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the ¼ cup water and corn starch to create a slurry.
  2. In a saucepan, combine the cornstarch slurry, garlic, ginger, water, soy sauce, brown sugar, and honey. Whisk together.
  3. Bring to a simmer and simmer until thickened, about 4 minutes.
  4. Let cool. This recipe makes a pint.
