Easy Twix Cake

This easy Twix Cake tastes just like the classic candy bar! (Maybe even better!)

Ingredients

  • 1 box pound cake mix
  • 2 cups caramel candies unwrapped
  • 2 cups chocolate chips
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream divided in half

Instructions

To make the Twix Pound Cake:
    Cup of Yum
  1. Preheat oven and coat the inside of a bundt cake pan with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. Prepare pound cake batter according to directions on package and pour into bundt pan. Bake according to box instructions and allow to cool completely.
To make the caramel layer:
  1. Heat 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream and caramels in a double boiler, stirring regularly until completely melted.
  2. Slowly, pour caramel mixture over the top of your pound cake, then chill in fridge for at least an hour to set.
To make the chocolate coating:
  1. Heat 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream and chocolate chips in a double boiler, stirring regularly until completely melted.
  2. Remove cake from fridge and pour chocolate ganache over the top of the cake to cover completely.
  3. Allow chocolate coating to fully set before slicing and serving
