Easy Vegan Oats With Yogurt (No Milk)
Report
Combining oats and yogurt is the easiest version of overnight oats there is! Plus, yogurt softens oats more quickly, so you can even mix it up in the morning. The result is so creamy and delicious, no milk or chia seeds needed (though you can certainly add them if you like). Customize your yogurt oats with all of your favorite flavorings and toppings.

Ingredients
- ½ cup rolled oats
- ¾ to 1 cup Plain dairy-free yogurt see Notes for homemade options
- sweetener of choice such as maple syrup, granulated sugars, or sugar-free options
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract, optional
- fresh fruit, nuts, and seeds for serving
Instructions
- Stir the oats and yogurt together in a small bowl or storage container. Add sweetener and extract, if using.
- Yogurt oats can be made the night before, like overnight oats, or mixed not long before serving because yogurt softens oats more quickly than milk. The oats continue to soften the longer it sits. Add your favorite toppings and enjoy!
Notes
- Yogurt Options - if you can't find non-dairy yogurt in stores, it's actually surprisingly easy to make at home. Try these:
- Store - Oats with yogurt will keep in the fridge for up to 2 days. Keep in mind the oats get softer the longer it sits. I like it best within 24 hours.
