Edible Peanut Butter Cookie Dough

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter
  • 2 Tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons white sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons milk or more as needed
  • 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • peanut butter chips optional

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Spread the flour out onto a baking sheet and bake for 8 minutes, stirring once halfway through. Allow the heat-treated flour to cool completely before using.
  2. Add peanut butter and both sugars to a large bowl and cream together until light and fluffy, or about 2 minutes.
  3. Mix in the milk and vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour and salt. Add the dry ingredients to the bowl of cookie batter and mix until there are no dry spots.
  5. Stir in peanut butter chips.
  6. Cover until ready to serve.
